ALCHEMY HOME STUDY PROGRAM

ACCELERATED LEARNING PROGRAM (ALP)

In response to requests from students, Flamel College has implemented an accelerated certification option in alchemy (ALP). Students must apply for the accelerated option during enrollment or transfer to the program if you are an existing student. 

While the of accelerated apprenticeship is hardly in keeping with the alchemical tradition of a slow and deliberate initiation into alchemy, modern students tend to have specific goals in mind when they enroll in this program. With that in mind, Flamel College will now accept accelerated students who have some background in the Hermetic arts, esoteric organizations, spiritual work, or independent study in alchemy.

If you choose to participate in this program, you must agree to the following methods of instruction, grading, and delivery of materials for Modules 1-6:

1. Modules are sent immediately on enrollment as email attachments. The student is responsible for printing the materials. If you enroll in the full program, all modules will be sent at the same time.

2. Students are issued a user ID and password for accessing the expedited features of the accelerated program. Original alchemy books, manuals, charts, booklets, and instructional sound files can be downloaded at anytime by the student.

3. Laboratory materials are sent by regular mail when the student passes the relevant prerequisite modules. Students must still show they are qualified to safely handle lab supplies before they can be sent.

4. All exams are submitted by email. Exams are graded by a panel of available instructors certified in alchemy and returned to the student by email within 72 hours.

5. ALP students are assigned a Program Advisor, who will be their contact for any problems or concerns. 

6. Questions on the course materials are submitted online to the Alchemy Forum. Questions are answered by alchemy instructors, fellow students, or program administrators. 

7. Certificates will be sent by regular mail. As in the past, certificates in Spiritual Alchemy, Practical Alchemy, and the Diploma in Alchemy are sent out to be made up and can take 3-4 weeks to arrive. 

We hope this innovative program meets the needs of our students who need faster response and certification in the courses in the Alchemy Home Study Program. Please note that the ALP option is not available for the Master Alchemist Instructor Certification (Module 7).

To take part in the accelerated program, simply indicate the ALP option during enrollment. If you are an existing student, please contact the college administrator Andrea Zuckavich to be transferred.
