Dirah Academy International
Dirah Academy International is an international institute that gives email and correspondence courses in Vedic Astrology. These courses are part of the professional training program of the American Council of Vedic Astrology (ACVA). Dirah Academy has teachers in countries like USA, Canada, England, Germany and the Netherlands. The institute gives both beginners courses and advanced courses. This is the beginners course in Vedic Astrology. The student will learn the principles of Vedic Astrology on the basis of the personal chart. The material has 14 lessons and covers items like Hindu predictive astrology, the relationship between Ayurveda and Astrology, Yogas, the use of Vedic remedial measures, divisional charts and how to make a full chart interpretation. The fee is 2 terms of $ 85 if the course material can be sent over the internet or 2 terms of $99 if it has to be sent by regular mail.
AS302 Advanced Course Vedic Astrology
This is the follow up to the beginners course. In 14 lessons attention is being paid to items like the Nakshatras (the Hindu Lunar Zodiac) and how to use this system for chart interpretation, Shadbala (a Hindu system to measure the strength of planets), Ashtakavarga, Hindu Horary Astrology, more divisionals, how to compare charts for relationships (compatibility analysis), advanced chart interpretation. The fee is 2 terms of $ 85 if the course material can be sent over the internet or 2 terms of $99 if it has to be sent by regular mail.
In this course different approaches of Vedic Astrology are treated in 10 lessons. Also attention is being paid on how to use some Western techniques in Vedic chart analysis. The following approaches are treated: Jaimini Astrology, Systems Approach, Krishnamurti Paddhati, Progressions (like Brighu progressions), Jyotish Astrocartography, eclipses. The fee is 2 terms of $ 85 if the course material can be sent over the internet or 2 terms of $99 if it has to be sent by regular mail.
In this course of 9 lessons the following subjects are treated: How to set up a successfull practise in Vedic Astrology, full relationship analysis, advanced yogas, Iyer techniques, more Krishnamurti Paddhati, different methods of chart rectification. The fee is one term of $ 85 and one term of $42.50. If the course material can be sent over the internet or one term of $99 and another term of $ 49.50 if it has to be sent by regular mail.
